Jazz Apples

Return to search

Jazz Apples are a variety of apples that are known for their crunch. They were developed in 2001 and are a mix of  Braeburn and Royal Gala apples. I haven't yet found a primary source that touches on the reasoning for thier name, but most speculation centers around its crunch (jazz is crunchy, right?) and wide color variation.
